Horsford History

 

Horsford has a rich and vibrant history that dates back to the times of the Egyptian Pharoes. 

 

Far more recently the village is mentioned in The Domesday Book and in 20th century wartime Britain Horsford supported the war effort in a variety of ways . . ultimately finding itself in the firing line.

 

These pages will grow into a catalogue of notable local events and memories.  It's early days, so do please bear with us.  But take a look around and let us know if you like what you see.
